Pikes Punks is a Comedy Show In Colorado Springs run and hosted by Russell Keller. Russell placed an order with me back in March of 2023, and I couldn't be more grateful. This was one of my favorite projects to work on and it's definitely in the top 5 I'm most proud of from my time freelancing. It was a rewarding experience and I love to check back in from time to time to see how the brand is being used. Russell has a bit of design talent himself, so he maintains the brand well :)
This project taught me that sometimes design doesn't have to be so literal all the time. I'm used to making logos that have hidden meanings and clever shapes, but sometimes it works just to make something cool! Whenever appropriate, of course. It all depends on the client and the situation!
